The IGNITE MAX program is our fresh, new look developmental program for U7-U10 age groups. In previous years, our professional coaching resources were only available through joining the Academy program. With IGNITE MAX, we seek to grow the entire age group of players together by unlocking our resources to all players at these critical developmental ages.

IGNITE MAX is divided into boys' and girls' divisions, which play both fall and spring seasons. Each season affords the opportunity to participate in about ten to twelve games over the course of a 10 to 12 week season. The program is similar to the Academy program of years past with some key focused differences:

• Team training is coordinated by professional coaching staff with assistance from passionate volunteer coaches 

• Teams will have the opportunity to train directly under the professional coaching staff periodically throughout the season

• IGNITE MAX offers a supplementary Talent ID program where players can participate in more competitive games and tournaments with professional coaching staff

Each team holds 2 one-hour and fifteen minute practice sessions every week. 

Weekend games are played in the USYS 7v7 Build out of the back format as well as Funiño game format.  

Individual players can follow our Soccer Starts at Home curriculum, created by Tom Byers and our partners at Houston Dynamo Academy, to compliment their experience at the field. For more advanced players, Houston Dynamo Academy offers the Skill Builders program, where players can be socially rewarded and acknowledged for hard work and dedication to the Skill Builders monthly curriculum.

• All Fire SC players get to work with professional coaching staff

• All volunteer coaches get access to professional coaching mentors

• We create a holistic development environment that takes care of players of all skill levels while also providing vertical movement for players who seek more from their experience

• Our hope is to build a foundation for each age group so all players may have the opportunity to play competitively as future high school players
